About Recharge Vodafone
What we do
Recharge Vodafone is an independent information site for UK readers. We publish practical guides answering specific questions in four areas:
- UK consumer prices — current cost of goods, services and experiences across the UK and popular European destinations, with sources cited.
- UK TV advert cast and music — who's in the ad, what's the song, often with the official video embedded.
- UK telco how-to + reference — step-by-step procedures for top-up, SIM swap, roaming, billing, account management, broadband troubleshooting (Vodafone, O2, BT, EE, Three).
- UK welfare benefits — gov.uk-sourced explanations for PIP, Universal Credit, Carer's Allowance and related claims.
About this domain — full editorial rebuild in May 2026
The domain rechargevodafone.co.uk was acquired with historical authority but a
legacy of low-quality, automatically-generated content from the previous operator. In May 2026
we executed a complete editorial rebuild: the entire previous WordPress installation,
all its plugins, and all of its content were dismantled. The site was rebuilt from scratch on a
modern static stack (Astro on
Cloudflare Pages) with a
brand-new editorial pipeline, a vastly smaller curated content set, and proper E-E-A-T signals
(authors, fact-checking, dated sources). We document our process openly in our
editorial policy.
We are not Vodafone Group plc, Vodafone UK, or any of their subsidiaries. We are not an official customer-service channel. We are editorial — a consumer information site whose name reflects the originating focus of the domain.
Who we are — editorial team
Articles on this site are produced by the Recharge Vodafone editorial team: a small group of UK-based researchers and writers. AI assists with first drafts, structuring and research, but every article is fact-checked by a human against primary sources before publication. Hero images are AI-generated for editorial illustration and clearly captioned as such.
How we research and verify
Full editorial procedures are in our editorial policy. Summary:
- Primary sources first — gov.uk, vodafone.co.uk official help, Office for National Statistics, BBC, brand official sites for advert content. We always cite them in the article.
- Recency check — every article shows its
publishedDateandupdatedDate. The updated date only moves when the change is materially substantive — never just for SEO appearance. - Two-source minimum — for cast and music identifications we cross-check at least two independent sources where possible.
- AI-assisted, human-verified — drafts and research synthesis use AI tools; every fact, number, name and step is verified by a human editor before publish.
What we don't do
- No automated mass publishing. The current site is curated manually.
- No scraping or content lifting from other sites.
- No paid product placement or sponsored articles disguised as editorial.
- No clickbait headlines that don't match the article body.
- No display advertising, tracking pixels, or retargeting on the site.
- No advice on regulated matters (legal, medical, financial). For those, see a qualified professional.
How we operate financially
This site is currently maintained as an independent editorial project, without advertising, sponsorship, paid placements, or affiliate revenue. We are evaluating future monetisation options consistent with our editorial independence; if introduced, any commercial relationships will be clearly disclosed in-article and on a dedicated page.
